About Me

I am a musician and sound designer for film and theater, as well as a DJ.  I received my Masters degree from Illinois State University (2015) in Arts Technology,  specializing in Sound Design for Animation. I play multiple instruments including piano, trumpet, and percussion, as well as sing and dance.  Jazz music has been my main influence, but I enjoy listening to musicians across the many genres and continue to use things I learn to improve my creative stylings.  My love of music has fueled my interest in other areas of the arts. 

Working in theater sound has opened new doors for me.  Designing for a live audience changes your approach to sound, and I have found that working in the theater has influenced my film designs as well.

Having the opportunity to travel over the past several years has been invaluable.  The best way I have been able to educate myself about other cultures is by experiencing them.  I hope that wherever I may go I am able to continue learning and trying new things.  That is the only way I will expand as an artist!
